I was just wondering if anyone here actually smokes Inkas? Mitchell is obviously a great business man and is enjoying a lot of success with his various operations. One thing that really has me confused is these Inkas he keeps pushing. All the reviews on cgars are brilliant so I keep trying them but every time I'm left disappointed. They just don't match up with the reviews and I'm beginning to think it's just me?

Starkey you find with cigars wether Cuban or non Cuban they might suit one person but not another just my opinion on this. -

I'm sorry to say this and I certainly don't begrudge a businessman marketing their product. But it only took me a couple Inkas to realise that I don't enjoy them at all and the same appears to go for quite a few people I talk to...... I've tried one, I don't really remember how it smoked, so it couldn't have been that good or I would have bought some more.Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!Comment

If I could make a cigar that every single smoker would love I would not still be working 25 hours a day.
The blend is not for everyone and I have no issue with that. I completely respect the fact that all of the smokers posting above do not like the cigars and again I have no problem with that. Many BOTLS will have a different opinion of the same cigar for a variety of reasons and circumstances.
Please understand though that I do make my living selling cigars so slagging them off ( stinkas?) is really just not cricket. Like I say , I respect your opinion if you do not like them.What I would ask each of you is whether this is the only cigar that you have never enjoyed in your cigar smoking experiences? My life is full of memories of cigars that did not suit my palate.I simply leave it in the ashtray and try something else that does suit my palate.
The reality is that this brand of cigars may well now be one of the best selling and most popular new world cigars in the UK. With sales increasing month on month since they were originally launched some 3 years ago and sales now over 100,000 sticks a year. So whilst I am always very happy and open to constructive criticism I find it hard to question the factual sales data that my marketing team present to me To give you an idea of numbers, I believe that a new cigar that sells 10,000 sticks in a year is considered a success in the UK market.
Finally if any of you have any Inkas that you wish to return for refund I will be happy to do so.I would hope you can agree that I can not be fairer than that.

I'd like to come to Mitchell's defence on this one. I've tried a few Inkas and thought they were a decent smoke. Especially the Bombaso Maduro. A good smoke for the price and something a bit different, which is a good thing in my book.Comment

In my view, they are definately value for money and the Red Label (long filler) is not a bad smoke, especially considering the pricepoint.
I had the chance to sample the US version of Inca Secret Blend when I was in New Orleans this summer to attend the IPCPR. I think it?s an interesting smoke, I found it to be a well balanced, light to medium bodied cigar, maybe as I'm used to smoking full-bodied Nicaraguans.
No one particular cigar can please everybody but I admire Mitch for doing something different and coming out with a Peruvian puro which is unique and it is hard to come up with something unique in the cigar industry these days. I think it is always worthwhile to try something new and discover tobaccos from around the world, even if you don't end up enjoying it, at least give it a chance.?These gentlemen (3 Friars at Nicaragua) gave us some seegars to smoke..these are leaves of tobacco rolled up in such manner that they serve both for a pipe and tobacco itself..they know no other way here, for there is no such thing as a tobacco-pipe throughout New Spain?. No offence meant Mitch, I'm glad your doing well with them and hope you continue to do so.
But as with anything folks can be pretty informal in conversation and negative stuff tends to travel more than positive.
