  • No such thing as a bad question?

So I have seen some of you guys smoking and getting hold of American brands and American type cigars... KFC is one blend and many others... Where are you getting these?

I can't find them on any UK websites and last time I spent money on a U.S. Website and got them shipped... Customs smoked them for me... Albeit in a furnace!

I suspect that you'll have little luck finding an answer which can stand up against the board's "no non-UK supplier talk" rules. The sad fact is that too few NCs make it onto the shelves of UK retailers - aside from us few diehards, there's not much of a demand.

I am not intending on discussing non UK sources. However I'm surprised that customs seizing ...as long as they are as stated in declaration and duty is paid

If they are declared and duty paid then they are the same as any other import and quite legitimate. If duty is not paid then customs will seize them and send you a demand for duty at about ?265 per kilo usually including the weight of the box! If they are falsely declared then they will seize and destroy them. As you can see, its hardly worth the risk.
As VTG said, plan your holidays wisely. The Dominican Republic is a great holiday destination and source of cigars as is the USA.
