  • The end of Drew estates

Well its official, Swisher has bought Drew Estates. I can imagine with the current FDA view in the States that both brands flavoured and infused cigars could go but about the specials like the Freal Pig. I don't think Swisher would do away with a prestige line but I could see them being over produced.

I read about this too. We await the Swishpig, with nuances of pulled pork

I've heard people talking about the feral pig before, is it a good cigar?

Never had one personally, but they looked mighty cute IMO.

Hmm maybe I should acquire some before it's too late. I'm not meant to be buying anything at the moment though because of my recent cash flow issues. It sucks to be poor.

I tried not long after they had officially sold out a few years back and struggled. However, that was the first release no. 9 Flying Pigs which was my reference today. They very occasionally pop up on forums, but at primo prices. You'll likely find the later releases, feral etc.

Its a very good cigar Tommy, I should have bought a box when I had the chance, they generally retail at $17.95 each in US shops

I'm guessing Mr Drew is now massively loaded and will likely start up a new company as soon as his no competition agreement runs out.

So the feral pigs are no longer available?

                        Perhaps they ran away?

They must have. Serious question, in that range of cigars the pigs are all sold out it seems but other vitolas are not, would it be safe to say that the blend is the same for the rest in the range?

I'm considering ordering the Papas Fritas from the Unico Series to see what these elusive pigs were like. I can't even find the no9 pigs or the T52 pigs anywhere.

Do you have contact details for Aaron (searsa) if anyone can get them/point you in the right direction I imagine it's him. I could be persuaded to take a couple of each if you track them down.
