    Whaaaa? One for aging...another for smoking between 72 & 80 % humidiy???
YIKES!!! Where the heck did you hear this???

Hmmm? Can't remember the last time (if ever) I came across an NC that needed to be aged before smoking. NC are built to hit the ground running!

This is why I was really upset... It came in this tin... Was hoping for something spectacular for my 30th... Let down big time though [emoji22] [emoji20]

I agree, but the Opus is the exception that proves the rule

The rule: Non cubans don't need aged
The exception that prove it: Opus X

Ahhh, got it...an exception TO the rule.

I haven't really smoked that many to be honest so can't really say one way or the other. A somewhat less expensive alternative which I have smoked many times is the cousin to the Opus X - the Anejo. Same guts as the Opus X with a differnt wrapper.

The Anejo Shark is one I keep meaning to try since someone posted about it here a few months ago.

Know what! Now that you mention it....I think there's a Anejo Shark resting comfotably in don TJ's massive unit. I think I'll go liberate it from storage and pair it with a jigger or two of fine Havana Club Rum.

Thanks for the mind jog, se?or VDGuy! You're the best!

UPDATE: My mistake....it was a Anejo #55. Smoking it anyway! Cheers!

I had a shark last year when I visited the Prince, Keith had a load back then, don't know about now ...

Great cigar by the way, the Anejo kicks the ass of the bland over hyped over priced Opus X range
