  • What are your must try NCs?

I've only ever tried one NC and that was a dusty and dry old Don Ramos churchill that had been sat neglected in its tube for far too long. It was a very unpleasant experience! I'm interested in giving NCs a second chance, so what in your opinion is a good NC to have tried? Even if doesn't really hit the top of the line CC mark.

It would be nice if they were available in the UK too

      Fine non-puros!

Most sticks produced by A. Fuente are nice - a value-favorite of the Coros is the 858.

I have also tried the top 3 sticks of the CA 2011 top 25. Decent smokes at decent prices, IMO. CLICK HERE to see all 25.

It would be the Fuente Opus X Reserve de Chateau for me. Unfortunately, they seem to be rarer than hen's teeth these days.

Any of the Arturo Fuente Hemingway line of cigars.
Just can't go wrong with those.

I am a bit of a cheap skate when it comes to NC's, just try a load of singles and see what you like. I find some of the budget cigars okay, perhaps a bit mild but a nice way to pass an hour or so.

Good Idea, Muchacho. One way of doing this without maxing your credit line is to try some of the NC sampler bundles offered in the great land to the north of my beloved State of Mind, Mexico!

Thanks for the input guys!! Arturo Fuentes seems pretty much the way forward then! Can we import cigars from the US then? Wouldnt the duty be quite high on that?

+1 for the short story. Great little cigar. I had a Rocky Patel sungrown last month. I thought that was another nice litte smoke.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

+1 For the Fuente Hemmingway range. The Short story and work of art are superb.
If you can get one CAO La Traviata is one of the best cheap NC's I have smoked.
Rocky Patel decade is one of my favourites.
Trouble is there are so many NC's that unless you try them the choice is endless.

They are great, someone on another forum gifted me a couple. When I went to the states I made sure I picked a 5er up. Difficult to come by in the UK.

+1 for the Rocky Patel Vintage 1990, it's the stick I reach for when I want a brilliant smoke. My favourite by far.

Nub's are also worth a try, I like the Cameroon but obviously it's down to your preference. Also try the Ashton VSG line.

All these sticks are readily available in the UK, don't you just hate it when people recommend cigars you can't get
