Was browsing the cigar aficonado website a few days ago, they had a section on the top 25 cigars from 2007. It was surprising to see how many non Cuban cigar brands were included on the list.

I've sampled a few Balmoral cigars also and they are definitely a good enjoyable smoke

I wouldn't mind sampling a few of various Dominican Maduro cigars, maybe a few torpedos or the occasional churchill

I would be happy to swap, but I'm out of cigars at the moment lol

I'm only getting into cigars in again and am gonna have to wait a few weeks before I can order any cigars thanks to the postman who delivered a few more bills through the letter box at a shitty time

Thanks for the offer though, I really appreciate it alot

If you guys search on youtube, there's usually a good selection of cigar review videos, there's 1 or 2 that reviews the Partagas Black Classico as I'm looking to order a box of these pretty soon

Here's some reviews on the Partagas Black Classico

                    http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Lf2u0wZ2zb8 - Review #1

                    http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6eOJ_wcHobw - Review #2

Here's another review for the Hoyo De Monterry Excalibre 1066
                    Dark Knight Cigar

Review of the Hoyo de Monterrey - Excalibur 1066 Dark Knight by Walt from www.StogieReview.com

These are the only review videos tha6t I could find on any of the cigars mentioned above

I have had a couple of these, SC, and found them to be a superb smoking experience. Good looking cigar with a very deep, rich flavo(u)r.

If you try them and don't like them, I will gladly take them off your hands.

Has anyone here tried any of the CAO branded cigars?

They look to be reasonable enough cigars, but at the same time, the look to be a bit overpriced

                        What do you guys think?

Oh yeah. The 65th Anniversary Esen is pretty good, but burns unevenly. The 1998 Maduro was my first cigar ever and it turned me on to the habit. The Cameroon is very good too.

Thanks Larry , I like the idea of trying the maduro, the Cameroon and possibly the American", but trying to get some of these cigars can be a royal pain in the twin air bags at best

I have a major beef with alot of cigar stores here in the UK, and that is the fact that alot of cigars that are available in the US aren't available here in the UK, and that really sucks, but I guess it's really down to tobacconists stocking whichever cigars that they can sell most regularly

CAO is widely touted as a very good cigar here across the pond; however, I have mixed feelings about them. I've tried about half a dozen different ones and, with the exception of the Criollo Bomba (a funny-looking cigar as you can see, below) and the Gold Robusto, I've been disappointed with them. I found them overpriced and lacking flavo(u)r. Your mileage may vary.
