I got a 5 pack of these as a sampler. Here is my review.
Appearance: These look really rustic, not because of the wrapper, which is fairly smooth and oily, but because of the way they are rolled. They have a bit of a 'homemade' lumpy look to them, which may put some off - but the draw was perfect. The band is a very pretty picture of a galleon... I got the shortys because of the weather at the moment, which was bloody cold. I think other cigar smokers might thinkyou were smoking a novelty, but it looks pretty cool in my opinion. 7/10
Aroma: A nice classic good tobacco smell. No sweetened tips like the Flor De Oliva thank god! Cant expect much more from a budget stick. 16/20
Burn: Fairly even until the last 15 mins. It lasted me around 50 mins, but I might have smoked it a bit quick because I was freezing! Excellent draw. 17/20
Flavour: This really surprised me. I was expecting a cheap stick like a chinchalero or la rica, but I think this is a bit better than that. It had a biscuit and raisin sort of profile most of the way through, which mellowed out through the smoke. No harshness at all, and it got a bit creamy in the middle - It did have a bit of a kick in it though, around medium strong. A very good cheap stick. 43/50
Overall: Very pleased with these. A great everyday stick which has a lot going for it, if you can get past its lumpy odd looking physique. Rating: A conservative 83. They arent as good as an Oliva V or a Padron, but they arent a million miles away either.
