    Nice one, Bigboned...

Quick question - how hard was it to pick which stick was gonna be the first be? I'm still trying one stick at a time, brand by brand, and my list of 'first box to buy' just keeps on growing...too many 'first boxes'...argh!

It would be a shame to miss the Reyes. Had the trini Robusto T last night and in spite of flawless construction, appearance and burn - I'd still choose a Reyes for flavour even if the prices were matched. Maybe I'm weird like that tho...

I have had a good few Reyes recently so my plan was a rascc next then the epi then the Reyes again, my plan being by buying a box per month I won't have them all smoked before the next type and so build up to having revolving stock of my top 4 or 5, if I go with 12 Reyes they will be gone lol!

RASCC are very nice cigars and worth a try for anyone who likes the vitola. I'd also reccomend giving the Partagas short a shot if you haven't but I prefer the RASCC as it has strength but still is smooth with it which is why it goes so well with a good scotch.

Hmmmm. Doesn?t sound fully decided to me. I know getting a new box is exciting, but if I were at your stage in your cigar journey, and knowing what I know now, I wouldn?t rush too quickly into another box.

For app. the same price as a box of Epi 2 I would invest in a selection of small packs. For the money I would get:-

Pack 3 x Epi 2 (Which you want)
Pack 5 x Trinni Reyes (Which you want)
                Pack 5 x Monte 4 (Indispensable)
Pack 5 x Monte 5 (Better than the RASCC IMHO)
                Pack 5 x Siglo 1 (Delicious)
Pack 3 x Petit Edmundo A/T (Hard to beat)
Pack 3 x HdM Petit Robusto (Very, very good)
                Pack 3 x Upmann Mag 46 A/T (Excellent smoke)

That?s 32 smokes instead of 25 and a varied range of sizes.

But, if the variety isn?t enough, nearly all of the Cohiba, Cuaba and Trinni ranges are available in small packs. Not forgetting either some Forum firm favourites such as Party SD4s, SP2s and Lucitanias, Monte 2s, RyJ Churchills, S Churchills and PCs, HdM DCs, Epi 1s and Du Marie and from VR Don Alejandro?s and Famosos.

OK, if you?re looking to buy a particular year box or a box to ?age? then the small packs aren?t much use. But if you?re after something you can smoke straight away, then small packs are fine.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

                    nice shout tippexx.

I had one monte 4 from a tube a few months ago which was decidedly average, but I take it they can be quite a fine smoke if you get a good batch.
