VR famosos VS RASS.....

hey all,
i picked up a single of each the VR famosos and RASS yesterday in belfast!!! i intend to pit them against each other in my octogon over the weekend!!!! the one with the best display of fire breathing fists and most bitchin' tigerblood gets the chance to join the rest of my goddesses in my humidor for some sweeet action later......

roughly translated:
whichever one i like best i'm buying a box of!!!!

I'm certainly going to be interested in what your thoughts are. Both of these are on my shortlist... I've heard/read that the Famosos as a line has been going through a poor run and not been at its best.

Had a famosas today from a pack of 5. Spot on construction, great draw, with lots and lots of creamy smoke.

alrighty folks,
had both the VR famosos and the RASS, and the verdict is as follows:

i've had quite a few singles of the VR famosos over the last couple of years, and they've always been spot on!!! they've never been enough to warrant me wanting to buy a box, but since i've come into a few quid recently, i thought i'd consider buying a box simply for variety in my collection!!!

as for the RASS, i only ever had one before and i didn't like it much!!! mind you i was very much new to cigars!!! this one i'd liken to a good bolivar tubos 2, only bigger!!! it was rich tasting and very much full bodied and very much 'up my street'!!! pretty much what i wished the bolivar RC would be like!!!

so, i've come to this conclusion: they are both different beasts that i enjoyed immensely!!! i'm very pleased to say that they are both welcome in my household, so i'm gonna get a box of each in the next week or two!!! lol......

I've always had a few RASS in the humi, I'm a big fan, but I've never tried the Famosos so that will have to be (another one) on the "to try" list.

Great stuff Alex i love them both but have a slight tendancy to favour the RASS in fact got another box on order making its way to me albeit its a split with another BOTL but i just couldnt go without some RASS in the humis
