  • Small smokes delivery

Been a long day already as I was at Gatwick at half 5 to pick up my parents, so up at 4am... and to add insult to injury they didn't bring back any smokes - prices in the Duty Free being way over what I'd told them was reasonable to pay! Pretty sure my old man wasn't too fussed as he'll have wanted his cigarette allowance all to himself! Plus being an ex Customs man there's no way he'll have gone over his allowance (heaven forbid!) just for me! Hey ho...

The better news was that I picked up a parcel from the postie when they opened at 9am with a small order from Cgars:

    Contents:

    Close-up:

1 x El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse
    1 x H. Upmann Magnum 48
    5 x Montecristo Puritos
2 x Ramon Allones Small Club Corona
    5 x Romeo y Julieta Petit Julietas
    1 x Trinidad Coloniales
    2 x Partagas Shorts
    3 x H. Upmann Corona Junior

Plenty of smaller smokes to try for the first time as I've been finding that I've not always got an hour to spare, especially while it's cold. Should keep me out of mischief for a while. I bunged the Coloniales onto the order to try in the spring along with (or vs.) one of the Siglo II's that came back from Cuba with me, should give it sufficient time to rest...

Finally a quick pic of the stash that I've slowly been building up. My 50CT humi is already too small - not exactly a shock...

It's all getting there, slowly... it's odd thinking forwards to the summer trying to consider what I might want to try when I can sit outside and relax into a bigger cigar.

Some terrific looking haul matey .... some very fine cigars and a very nice looking humi I might add.

I'll be interested to know how the RyJ Petit Julieta smoke. It's a small smoke I don't have, so haven't been able to include in my SWS reviews .... maybe you can tag it on?
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

          Mag48

You will enjoy the Mag 48 if you have not tried them before. Great little smoke and underated IMO.

Thanks Tippexx! The humi was just one of those really lucky finds and I really like it - too many of them that I see are either too olde world looking or too fancy. I usually like plain looking boxes but this really caught my eye as it looks reasonably modern... ?75 off ebay the week that I got back from Cuba last Dec!

Ref the Petit Julieta, not sure I'd do it justice to tag onto your SWS series, which as I said the other day has been pretty useful in drawing up my shopping list!

You couldn't be any closer to the truth! Trying to resist smoking one before they have had chance to chill in the humi is going to be one tough task... I know how much of a difference it will make though so gotta stay strong!

Not tried a single one of these that landed today, they are all new to me... The Mag 48 is a little treat as I really like the size, although the UK price is a bit rich for something small. I want to get a couple of boxes of little 'uns for next winter stashed away in the next few weeks and I'll be trying to work out what to get.
