Well this was a shock ( a pleasent one). Royal Mail delivering Parcels on a Sunday Morning? Times must be hard down at the depots.

Anyway, here we have 25 x Gurkha Park Avenue.

These have been getting good reviews everywhere and for the price I just could not resist. I got the 5 loose sticks as a freebie with the 20 box. Even with shipping etc they were insanely cheap.

Therefore, either the bargain of the year or the biggest let down, time will tell? These are supposed to be a mild / medium smoke so I forsee these sitting in the humi until summer, bring on those long lazy summer afternoons in the garden.

Anyone had any experience with these?...

A Manly Looking Stick!

I've smoked a few Gurkhas in my day and really enjoyed only one - the Gurkha G3.



And although the Gurkha line generally tends towards the medium side (which is not conveyed in the marketing scheme), the G3 uses triple ligero with a Nicaragua wrapper and filler which gives it a fuller taste.

Mmm. They are however, very cool looking stogies and usually come in impressive boxes.
