Behikes, Party Especials, VR Marshals!

I did well on the cigar front this month.

A box of Behike 52s, Partagas Espicials and the notorious Vegas Robaina Marshal.

The Marshals are the Adriatic regional that was supposed to be a LGC cubana until the last minute it was rebranded as a VR due to trademark infringement in the area of release.

There was no official word on the Marshals being re rolled for this change.

The box indicates that something is askew. Notice the metal plate? under it is a LGC brand. You may also be able to see that under the Habanos Chevron, there are remnants of the previous sticker that had to be ripped off for the switch!

The box also has a 2008 date stamped on the inside and since it had been previously sealed then I'd say these are LGC in disguise as VRs! However we all know about cubas quality control, so maybe they for got to re-stamp the boxes? The mystery continues...

ps. anyone see the spelling mistake on the Marshals?
