    My new set up

    Finally got my new humidor cabinet set up after what has felt like the most stressful six months of my life.

    Bought this cabinet months ago and seasoned it whilst it was in my storage unit so that it would be ready to use as soon as I moved from Kent to our new place in West Wales. Everything was on track for the move to be completed early July when MLW was rushed into hospital with what appeared to be stroke like symptoms. It turned out that she had a brain abscess and within 24 hours she was having emergency brain surgery. Suffice to say my ability to read or post on this forum or much of anything has been put on the back burner for obvious reasons. Fortunately MLW is making a very good recovery and I have been able to get my cigar storage sorted and thought I would post some pics.

                one nice collection you have going there, looks really good in the humidor. Sorry to hear about your wife, (I know only too well cigars take a distant second place in such events) I wish her a speedy recovery

                  That’s a great collection but looks like you’ve still got space for a bit more in there. I like the lights, I may have to add some myself now 😁.

                  Since I sealed the holes in the back of mine the top shelf is 65-67 and the bottom shelf 64-65RH using Boveda, they hold humidity a lot better than I thought.

                    Tough times indeed, glad everything seems to have turned out OK, hope your better half makes a full recovery & then you can both relax into your new home & you can enjoy some stress free smoking. Love the set up & I am hoping once we have fine a new home I can have a set up that displays my collection & now I have to have lights too! I have asked questions before so I'll have to go back through search & dig out the previous threads when the time comes. Take care.
