Nice and you won't regret it. Some of the most under rated cigars in my humble view.
The little Reyes is a fantastic little cigar and the Fundadores is one of my all time favourites.
Nice looks sticks there mate, I need to explore Trinis some more/ I meant to say to you Nic I picked up a Fundadores (old band) while at Dunhill for the Cain launch on your advice, will spark it up this weekend
Ha ha, yes it is quite a modest selection, though I have yet to invest in a full batch of a particular brand. Still new to cigars so it will take time for me to find the right one.
Well after just over an hour of smoking the Robusto T I have to say it wasn't bad at all.
Beautiful skin, minimal veins, a very easy draw, with gallons of thick white controllable smoke! Very rich, peppery, and spicy taste that hits your tongue full on, which makes me wonder whether it is indeed a medium blend at all (or simply perhaps my inexperienced palette!).
Towards the middle part of the smoke the flavours did merge into what, to me, tasted surprisingly like roasted macadamia nuts, which was a first for me. Ash was not as marble smooth as the Montecristo 2 I smoked, with a bit of roughness, but lasted about an inch before toppling over.
The Trinidad Robusto T is my first, and thus will need to smoke a few more in order to write a more reliable review. Nonetheless a good thick size, not too long, with thick white smoke, roasted coffee aroma, and a rich macadamia spicy peppery tang.
