Postie was my friend today as he brought me these. My first go at the HdM epicure especial's .......smoking one as I'm typing this and am very pleased with the experience so far. The Partagas EL 2010's look delicious and after some resoundingly good comments on here I'm looking forward to the day when I fire into them.

hey mackers, great selection!!! both are firm favourites with me..........the partagas especial.........wow!!!! i've only smoked one from my box, fantastic cigar!!! still can't bring myself to write an objective 'review'!!! i will in another couple of weeks when i have another!!! when funds allow, i intend to by as many boxes of these as i can (i intended buying the monte GE EL2010, but have resigned myself to hunting out the party especials!! to be honest, i'm not a great fan of montecristo anyway)!!!

well.........enjoy those bad boys!!! do share your thoughts on the partagas el2010's!!! for now, all i can say is that, for me, i was one hell of a rich cigar, BURSTING with flavour! the aroma........well, when i was smoking it, 'er indoors was having a coffee with one of her friends, who commented on it smelling, quote: 'yummy and......... sexy', to the agreement of my missus!!! i near choked, lol!!! all this and it's not even a year old? HOLY COW!!!

Yeah, it definitely seems like the Party is the early hit amongst this years EL's. I intend to give one an audition while watching England spank the yanks tomorrow night so I'll be sure to let you fella's know what I make of it.

Well, its taken me a few days to get over the disappointment of saturdays result but the one thing that didn't disappoint was the new Partagas EL that I quaffed greedily during the game. The pre-light aroma was so pungent, like a D4 on steroids!! Smoking the first half of the cigar was an absolute delight with bundles of flavour and copious amounts of rich, thick smoke. The second half was much stronger than the first (unlike England) and got very, very spicy towards the end. All in all a top smoke but I can't wait to see what they're like once they settle down a bit. GET SOME
