And it is a good smoke also, but AGE THEM!!!! IMHO.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
They look very nice. I would agree with TJ about putting them away for a while. Last year I got a box of Monte Sublimes and disliked them whenever i tried. So much so I gave a few away. I tried one of the three I had left last night and wow what a difference. Very good indeed. Listen to the mad mexican he does make sense !
I don't follow what's new and stuff cigar-wise at all. I really don't. I'm far too busy and stay to the tried and tested.
I learn about it from some of you who appear to have have similar tastebuds and who recommend well.
I only heard about these yesterday when I bought a single D4. I ran out a while ago and miss those buggers. It was sublime in a day of quite strong smokes.
To think there are some sort of super D4s on the way is fantastic. I love Partagas so much.
