I'm using the humidification solution from C-Gars ltd. I've just taken out the humidifier to see what happens.

The humidity will drop. But removing the humidifier altogether is not a good idea. Better to retain it and use a matchstick to hold the lid open a tad. And resist constantly opening the lid to check on it. Give it 24hrs at least to settle. What you wish to smoke tonight, take out, they won't come to any harm.

Just for info, I've been using the Xikar crystal clear jar (well 2 of them) and it's stablised my cabinet humi to 66% perfectly.

It is a reason why I segregated them from the rest! I didn't want the others to lose their confidence! Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check on my RH level tomorrow evening to see if I've made some difference to it. If not I'll have to place an order for the crystals.
