Nubs mmmmm

I blame Lee Nub totally for turning me onto these addictive sticks. Knowing that the election would mess with exchange rates, and not in a good way, my Nub stock was running low and the high costs of shipping across the pond i worked out there was only one thing to do




For those that can't make out the pic it's a box of Connecticut 460, Habano 466 and Cameroon 460 and a huge selection in the stinky.

That is over 30 foot of 60 gauge plus of Nubby goodness and a stinky ashtray to work on filling up.

Plus they took a while to ship so i have a few more on order due to arrive from a different source any day now.

Also been searching for a Nub tube for a while now so you can just throw one in your pocket and head out and after trawling fleabay for ages i think i might have found a source that can fit the mighty 66 gauge 4 inch Habano 466. I'll let you know when it arrives about the fit.

Seeing these in quantity has really made me long to try them.
Despite Lee constantly extolling their virtues I've just never really fancied them that much (don't know why, possibly just the unconventional shape or the massive ring gauge) but seeing them all in their glory like this has developed a strange desire to try them.
I know Lee always likes to promote the 460 but in your photo the Cameroons and Habanos just blow me away. The colour on these wrappers is beautiful.

The 460 is just the size 4 inches by 60 ring gauge. I'm also really fond of the Cameroon 466 BPT. The flavours on that if you just take a small amount of the cap off are stunning.

okay, dont bother with the tubes from ebay for Nubs, i dont know what the seller was using to measure the internal diameter but i measure it as 23mm, for the 66 gauge i work it out to be 28mm. The quest for a Nub tube goes on.

best cheer myself up with another new ashtray i guess lol.

Very impressive! I should really get round to actually trying one. Cains are first on the list though, as I actually have some.
