Through the kind assistance of two forum members I have finally managed to obtain five sticks of two cigars I have been really wanting to try. Five Partagas De Partagas No.1 from 2003 (the shorter stick, smell amazing) and five Partagas Connoisseur No.1 (also a stunning aroma).
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
Big T, have to agree with nicwing, they look dam sexy , don't know anything really about them (are they an old brand from Partagas), so would appreciate a review.
By the looks of them, you'll need an hour (at least) or more to smoke them, although if the weather were you are is anything like the weather were I am, you'll be putting them in the humidor for a couple of months until BBQ time .
Enjoy anyway my friend!

Gosh, the PdP was killed in 2003, the years these sticks are from, wish I had more of them now!
