Are they the ones without the bands? If so I tried the Churchill variant and wasn't too impressed except for the price.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone - I think I'll stick around.

That's my one. Reason I got that one is because I wanted to have it in a drawer and with the glass lid I can see quickly if my babies are OK. I upgraded to an Adorini hair hygrometer from http://www.humidordiscount.com/ and it's been pretty reliable (I think) after salt-testing.

I thought they were OK, but after I had a series V I guess you're right. I still like them though and at less that ?3/stick they're damn good value per cubic inch of tobacco.

Hi , i enjoyed the picadillos when i first got into cigars, and still enjoy them, main thing is keep them well, maybe invest in a digital hygrometer for better accuracy, enjoy the forum.

Hello Skins and welcome to the forum. Those Oliva V's are a fine smoke. I too started out with a small humi like yours then got another one then finally broke down and built a coolerdor. Its all downhill once you start.
Mike: Neil, it is very rare you interest me, but today you have. Why do you keep coming in here, carrying a cake, and saying surprise?
                      Neil: It's my birthday.
Mike: Now you knew that anyway, and we don't care, so where's the surprise? The Young Ones

Yes there the ones unbanded from cgars, each size has a different taste, i tried the churchils to but they need to ba aged a little while, the coronas and petite coronas are the nicer i think in the La Invicta range, but thats my personal tastes. When you start on the cubans.. hehe try the partagas D4's and the Romeo y Julieta range, others may disagree but they are my favs at the moment. They are also reasonably priced.
