Not at all, I’d love it if it was as good or better, of course. But if true, the concept of EL, aged leaf etc. falls completely. And I could expect the next the next Boli introduction to overgrow the Soberano
But as I said, I’ll have a Topes reg this week, so I’ll see for myself.

It?s human nature to find the more expensive and rarer cigar better even if they are identical though. I know I?d prefer the new to equal the old ones but that may devalue the originals
This was exactly what I wanted to hear I tried one of the EL?s and they?re too rich for my blood! So if the regs are at least somewhere close they?ll do me!

The new Topes is bloody marvelous! I found it to be just like the EL. I was very impressed.
I've had 3 already and they're from late 2019 so they're very fresh

I?ve not smoked the New Topes reg. yet, but it?s two sisters. I?ll do it this week, but I am VERY confident that it will NOT reach the Topes EL to the socks[emoji41]

I do understand what you say Mike and you are right. But I really like them and if I wait any longer pricing will become even worse. Or was that only what I was trying to tell myself before the purchase? Lol
I had 1 box left, so I can crack one now. One of the following days, I will smoke EL Topes and new Topes on the same day to compare.

I kept a few singles to smoke on a special occasion and a box to flip once they reach 750 in a few years. And I can get another box from a friend at a decent price if I want.
I would be interested in a comparison between the LE and regular prod but I doubt that I will get any of the regular ones since I have enough fat cigars in my stash and I don't smoke them that much any more.
