The names of different size and shapes vary greatly, particularly with NCs.
For CCs it is to a certain extend easier - there are two different names for each size, a common name and a factory name. The common name is very loose in terms of dimension and all inter-changeable (so a robusto could fall into different lengths and ring gauges) but the factory name is very exact (so a robusto is always 50x124mm).
For example, the Monte Edmundo could be considered a Robusto in terms of the common name and general shape, but in terms of the factory name is would not be considered a robusto, rather an Edmundo
Whereas a RASS is both a robusto in common name and factory name
In terms of common names its all very loose, for example, I think of the ERDM Choix Supreme as a robusto, but its factory name is Hermosos No.4, and according to CCW, its common name would be a Corona Extra (but a stated, common name doesn't really have any hard and fast rules)
