Final Prep.....before taking a Break

Electrics linked up and battens in place to stop insulation board falling between beams

Insulation finished - and area now covered/protected waiting for the main build to start - which will be hopefully when the weather is a tad warmer

Well I?ve been doing all of this so far in the freezing cold, so if needs must....but I only need a relatively mild window of a couple of days to get the main build done I reckon [emoji6]

Wow.....this is going to be awesome. Makes me really wish we had a bigger garden! Look forward to seeing this finished.

latest update - Well the summer house is on order, no confirmed delivery date as yet, but estimated to be around mid March. The garage is being cleared out to store the delivery when it arrives.

At the moment I'm just acquiring odds and sods for when the summerhouse is built and this little object arrived today from a friend in the States.



I particularly like the short quotes inlaid in the base

The build is on hold - awaiting delivery of the timber. Should be another few weeks. I did manage to build the steps for the summerhouse this weekend - out of decking board....

Literally, after posting the above, I had delivery confirmation of summerhouse timber arriving this week.

So, the journey continues soon......watch this space
