Boxes with cigars that have the tax band are meant for sales of single cigars. Boxes that have cigars without the tax band are meant to be sold as complete boxes. These have a tax band that has been applied somewhere on the box.

Hahaa, figures that one out long ago. I laugh silently when someone shows a bragging box with tax labeled individual smokes anywhere on the forums/FB pages - they now own a box where traces of at least 5 different male urines can be tracked to the sticks from all the fondling that’s been going on
