See you got as lucky as I did in Vigo & also had the unfortunate/fortunate experience of having the wife with you to witness the real cost!!! Sure you'll enjoy these for a long time; you should try the Selectos Finos, I find it hard to believe the Don Jose will be as good.Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

But today I have a story to tell that I cannot withhold:
My nose for a stash never fails, and sometimes luck strikes.
When I arrived on holiday in Italy 4 days ago my only worry was La Escepcion. I bought one in Switzerland in May, and as the strongest Cuban it is supposed to be, and as wonderful a smoke it was, I dreamed of getting my hands on a case or two. I knew it would be difficult but I also knew I was so far out that there?d be some waiting for me.
Alas and then when you finally arrive in Italy?s backcountry and walk into two shops with humidors and find nothing of hope you are mentally already at a setback. Shocking to say the least. Not a Don Jos? in sight and none to be had. No matter how much you pleaded.
So you spend days under the sun with good food and drink and the disappointment slowly dissipates.
Until one day - today- you decide to follow your woman on some shopping at a large outlet. Upon arrival suddenly the nose smells something familiar nearby. A tabaccheria. Well you might as well have a look because who knows. AND VOIL? there they are in all their might and glory. Don Jos?, Casanovas and even a couple of boxes of my favourite - the Topes.
O Goddess of luck I kiss your feet for this beautiful find. A price I will savour for years to come.

So, first day home after the holidays bringing the haul of babies home only to discover that space has now become unbearably tight for the little ones. And it?s raining!
Luckily due to the relatively high humidity of my wine cellar I could now bring in my second large humidor, even though my humidity system has not yet arrived.
And so, all the babies have a new home. A humidor for Cohiba, Trinidad, Partagas, Bolivars and a few other goodies and one for Montecristo, Ram?n Allones, Hoyo as well as my Davidoff?s and Padr?ns.
Just in time of the arrival of some Russian stock.

Thanks guys, well this has all been collected since I returned from Havana last August, so a year. I have now PROMISED myself that collecting must go down, and I feel comfortable - there are only a few items left on the wish list [emoji12]
