Indeed look great but kinda sad that stock is on the shelf so fresh. I have observed this going on for a few yrs now but isn't how things used to be but difficult to see how it will ever change now. It's one thing for us, who understand about ammonia, sick periods ect & needing time for these to resolve. Customers buying singles & trying these for the first time, could easily put off that stick by smoking it when it's far from it's best.
Cuba used to keep them for a while, at least a year or more before exporting & then in the UK, H&F would then keep them for a couple of yrs before releasing them to the regional tobacconists. So our fathers would have been buying 'aged' cigars every time & most would only have had a 50 count humi as they was no need for large personnel collections. Smoke a box, hen go & buy another.
It would be interesting to hear from senior members who might remember these days, Moon Dancer?Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

I think on the other side of the coin we should probably be somewhat grateful they are still making some of these vitolas at all. So many have been deleted and you really need to go looking for some of these things. I doubt many newbies are going to stumble across a punch dc.
Thank god for cuban inefficiency that we arent all smoking cohiba nubs and the ryj 770. It will happen eventually unless the chinese suddenly get a taste for 30rg.

I am encouraged by the fact the wrappers look similar to my box of punch punch, which are great.
