Thought I would start my own collection thread as I rudely gatecrashed mcdee the other day,doh [emoji106]

As mentioned in my new member thread I am a very new cigar smoker (addict [emoji33])

And what can I say I am really enjoying my cigar journey so far, loving trying the new brands and sizes that are on offer.

I have a small collection in a homemade Tupperdor that I can?t stop peeking into,

It?s my birthday today and keep thinking about them lovely Germanus humidor,so by the end of the night I might have pulled the pin and go for one,

Must say my favourite so far is El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme, that I love from start to finish.

Glad to see its a stash not a collection Stocko, stashes are for smoking, collections are for collecting

      Great selection there.

I would say every great collection started out as a stash

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

When I joined the forum I had a desktop humidor containing four RyJ tubos, a Bolivar tubo, a Partagas tubo and three Quinteros Favoritos. If I was at home I'd post a picture.

That looks like a good start! In a year or so you will be looking back at the picture you just posted with a smile on your face.

I remember thinking that I would only get one or two boxes a year because they were so expensive when I purchased my first box.

That’s a great collection/stash Stocko, I can see all the classic so called “beginner” cigars plus a bunch more. Happy smoking

Great start. Can't wait to see how quickly this stash turns into a collection.

Nice stash, I would recommend the Germanus. I purchased the cube last week and very pleased with it.

That's is a fine selection you have there....it's got such a good variety too.where you have two try smoke one now and on in a year's time and see how they change over the year.

Nice start indeed, just buy little & often & smoke less, you'll be suprised how quickly it grows. Of course if you don't have anywhere to smoke indoors, the winter months will probably be more collecting than smoking.

I can definitely recommend the Germanus cube. Bought one just before Christmas - they're lovely little units.

Covered most of the bases there Stocko .... Good work chap! Enjoy sampling and refining, before you go nuts and hit full blown CAD (cigar acquisition disorder). I would say pop a lock on your wallet now, but its a waste as we all promise ourselves to be good....
