• Nice work as always. I saw you won that competition but wasn’t sure on the prize. Looking forward to your thoughts as the price on that range has put me right off.

    • You have luck on your side as well as a huge collection of great cigars! Nice.

The price on them is eye watering, and they’re not a stick/price ratio I would normally indulge in, but I’ll take plenty more of them if they’re free ha That said, after the freezer treatment they’re off for a lovely looooong sleep!

Thanks Mike, I am really looking forward to smoking one of these, from the feedback they've been getting from folks on here their flavour profile sounds right up my street

Yes, I like them a lot as well. And the good thing is that they don't need a lot of time down to be good!

                • Great haul as usual there.

I've never tried the DA. Will get round to them one day when it's probably too late and they too become hen's teeth [emoji215]

                    Cheers

Haha, that would be typical, and the main reason why I snagged a box before they're all hoovered up!

PM me your addy and I'll send you one across to sample if you'd like

                    • thedame007 will you be trying one of your new Montys? That's one of the newest codes I've seen and it would be interesting to know how it smoked, vis a vis the recommendation of smoking just rolled or after a year.

I was going to let them sleep for 3 years, but I am a sucker for a science experiment (that's what is is, isn't it?!) So i will let it acclimatise for a few weeks and then i will light one up, maybe alongside one of my Monte 4's from 2010 that are marvellous

                            • Not quite New smokes, rather a new smoking den!

I have recently moved, and therefore lost the garage that I used to smoke in. So I took this as an opportunity to build a small smoking cabin to keep me dry and warm through winter! By all means it?s humble compared to a lot of folks on here, but it should do its job well enough!

I?m just in the process of sorting out the side, going to lay some more stones, put up a screening fence, and then get a bistro and chimenea for the colder autumn!
