Picked up a couple of boxes from a chap on Ebay, at the price I figured I couldn't go that far wrong...... The Churchill box is numbered 300/5000 and the Comandante 2295/7000.

    A box of Churchill's.

I don't know much about them other than what pops up on Google so if anyone has tried them feel free to share your thoughts.
    Thanks.

Haven't heard of these for years. They used to be available through a boutique supplier in the States. Thought about ordering some as they seem such great value but I guess that depends on how much import duties you have to pay. Certainly a better bet buying from fleabay, at least hey are already in the country. Let us know what you think when you have tried a couple Kwak.

Will do, suffering from a bit of man flu so it may be a few days before I tackle one of these. From what I can make out they stopped production in 2002 and restarted in 2007. There are quite a few positive reviews and they seem to have had a bit of a following across in the States, hardly surprising if they are half decent at the price they retail for.

Had one of the Comandante's today, flavour wise I think I've done it a little disservice as I am at the tail end of a bout of man flu so along with my still uneducated palate I couldn't pick out many flavours however it was in no way unpleasant if a little "samey". The cigar itself was "spongey" along it's full length and was (IMO) well constructed, with a fairly easy draw it held about 1 1/2" of ash before dropping. I will update the flavour side of things once I try again.
