If you're using a traditional wooden humidor you should use a higher rating than you want to achieve to allow for absorption by the wood, eg if you want to achieve 65% then use a 69% Boveda.

In my 100ct wooden humidor it is recommended to use 4 packs.
I have 6 in there and it is fairly stable. I will go up to 8 as it gets fuller.

By the way Tom, the collection is coming along nice.
I do think you should try the Guantanamera though. Purely for research purposes.
They may even be to your tastes.

Nice collection Tom, seems to be growing

I use 69% boveda in my wooden humi which seems to hold around 66% and 65% in my tupperdors which are airtight.

Sometimes very obvious things are not so obvious . Thanks for the tip mate, will order few more packs.

I tried Guantanamera already. I don't really have high expectactions or requirements, taste-wise wasn't the worst I ever had, but the smell was just terrible and I couldn't stand it .

Also worth noting that temperature fluctuations will affect humidity, depending on where you keep the humi this may or may not affect you. I added a 3/4" slab of granite to the bottom of mine and that regulates temp to within a nth of a degree, this allows the hydration unit to do tackle it's job easier BUT it does reduce your storage space
