Sorry I was mistaken... The Robusto Extra I have didn't have a pig tail...but has the same rough foot...I think they are called shaggy foot.

My bundle of Monsdales has just landed in LA. Will pick them up in July when I'll be in San Diego. They have been rolled in March at Havana Club, probably by Marisela because Jorge doessn't roll that much any more due to health issues.

Thank you Alex. I have another bundle that's still in Cuba outstanding and a sampler in the post. That will be it for now. Really happy about he Monsdales as they have been the highest on my list. Now I only have to wait a few years before trying one....

CR’s aren’t something that I’ve looked into so far, I think there’s still so much on the Habanos catalogue that I want to try and own before I start looking at CR’s for my kicks.

With that being said, I could definitely be tempted by the Monsdales. Not only are they the perfect size they also have a pigtail cap

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on them... in a few years of course.

I thought that it was time to get into the game, especially since most CRs one purchases are very fresh and thus need time down.

The Monsdale was the highest on my list because of it's lenght and thin RG. It won't be easy to let them rest for a few years.

Thank you Banos! Yes, I'm very lucky to have that friend in LA. He's well connected. He gets me stuff and I do the same for him.

I would love to get my hands on a bundle of the La Puntilla, but you know that they are not for us to have.
