You should hurry up, the du Prince was just discontinued. It's a nice smoke but they need a little rest. I have another box from 2015 and they still need a little time.

Buying recently discontinued stock is bad news, a smoke you dislike is always disappointing but one you love and will struggle to find more of could drive a man insane

Absolutely, I had quite an obsession with the des Dieux when it was discontinued.

I can understand someone buying in bulk a recently discontinued favourite but trying for the first time something already discontinued is for the masochist.

It for sure is a bit masochist. I have never purchased boxes of a cigar that I hadn't tried before but like to get my hands on a single or two from time to time. If it's a cigar one can't live without why not hunt down a box. Although I must admit that this has yet to happen since I've never hunted down any rare cigars. I favor to go for recently discontinued cigars that I like.
