Folks, I've been here for a year now and I've fell truly in love with cigars to the point where it's harder to say no than it is to say yes. So I'm going to kick off the showing off of my collection with a purchase from JJ Fox's this evening while enjoying a long awaited catch up with Undercover who egged me on! Honest guv'nor!
I smoked a 1988 Punch Coronation Tubo from a cab of 25, they were sweet and full of flavour with a soft squishy texture and some plume near the cap end. I decided to pick up 1-2 more to smoke with a friend at some point and when inspecting them I found they were all equally amazing. I guess with heritage like JJ Fox, they have to be kept in perfect conditions, which I don't doubt they have been. At closing I decided to take the rest! [emoji87]
The ten tubos
Outside of the box
March 1988 if I'm correct
The old style large seal, the bands on the cigars are thick and embossed too.
I'll keep adding as I go and probably upload a mass of images with my current stash.
Stay smokey folks!
