The Haier coolers look very smart. Tempted to buy one to grow into - or I may use half for cigars and half for bottles. How easy are they to set up and maintain?

I have 2lb of heartfelt beads in it and it sits at perfect temperature and RH without having to do anything, it was sitting a bit high on the RH, so I left the door open for half an hour, once a day for 2 days and it has settled. I'm pretty sure I over wet the beads so they needed to dry off a bit.
I planned on doing the exact same, but as you can see it was filled, I didn't realise I had so much!
I keep mine in my living room as I have no where else to put it so it keeps it at a normal temperature (I went out for the day and left the door open to let it warm up, as it was freezing from the delivery and warehouse and thought if I closed the door it would stay cold as fridges do!) but if you had it somewhere that would be susceptible to higher and lower temperature changes you might want to invest in a temp controlled switch as PeeJay has done, check out his thread.

Thanks for the info Krist. Where do you buy the beads? I'm planning on keeping the wine fridge upstairs so I think temp should be ok, at the moment my humidor sits between 18 and 20 Celsius
