They look stunning. i'm fascinated by all these custom rolls at the moment, its something i cant have so that always pulls you in more doesn't it . Whats the typical cost of these compared to the main manufacturers. Id guess they aren't much cheaper.
do you guys smoke these more as a day to day stick?

If you can pick them up in Cuba they are very cheap. Overall they still come up cheaper than those of a similar size made by the regular manufacturers. And why not smoke them as an everyday smoke if the mood takes you?
For reference only Shamir sourced this latest lot at the following prices

Wot PeeJay said puropunch ... dont get me wrong I dont crack out an aged DC every day - wish I had the time.... and there are some things that are worth savouring on high days and holidays, but these customs are as well made as regular production. In some cases better it could be argued as the relative volumes are less, albeit I for one dont beleive the Custom Rollers arent highly productive, because as their reputations grow rather like Alex, Alejandro, Juanita and others... then the demand increases.
I dont tend to smoke my CR's so fresh - just because I tend to favour fine weather, so they get age by simply hanging around in a humi. I have some that I will post over the weekend that are so clearly dark and oily that I think they will wear some ageing rather well, so they will be saved...

cheers for the info @ emaresee its all very valuable for me at the moment. The standard of the cr's i see on hear look really, really good. The guys clearly know what they are doing. after all i cannot see you guys buying them if they are of a sub standard. the prices listed also look very reasonable for such a thing and afer all its actually being in a position to buy them. I would savor smoking one over a top line very expensive factory smoke, just purely the fact that anyone with the money can buy and smoke one..not the case with these bad boys..

they arent so hard to come by... you'll see in due course... although getting them out of Cuba is apparently tougher than previously for reasons I dont know/understand.

I'm only guessing but it might be linked to the need to produce receipts for your cigar purchases at customs on the way out

I think it's more of a tax thing...all boxed cigars a taxes and CR money not going through the tills in assuming.
