Some new additions to what I think I'll call 'The Stabledor' [emoji849] picked up from Gesto and a friendly tabac 'Le Bouffard' in Aix-en-Provence, here we have:

A box of PL Panatela from '15, already sampled and perfectly pleasant;



A trio of Siglo VI and of H Upmann Mag56 2015, to be smoked this very week with my holiday host and dear friend Gilles;



A selection of short smokes - Monte 5, AF Short Story, RASCC, San Cristobel de Havana El Principe (all from Aix) to share with friends who are slowly but surely beginning to appreciate the world of cigars;



A CAO Amazon Basin as recommended by the enthusiastic tabac guy in Aix;



An H Upmann no 2 Cosecha Reserva 200 which was gifted to me by my friend Gilles and which I knew nothing of until a few moments ago and am now quite gonsmacked and very excited to smoke!

A selection of singles arrived yesterday, some of which I'll be sharing with my dad, who seems to be getting quite into the hobby, much to my mum's chagrin (she seems to think a twice monthly cigar will be the death of him)...along with a gratis copy of Cigar Journal.

Interesting article on the decline of the Ramon Allones brand since The Revolution. It's one of my favourites and I didn't realise that it was so prolific and successful back in the day. Will try to scan and post up here if that's not infringing any copyright?
