  • just got 2 boxes of cigars- advice pls

    Hi,
just got 2 boxes of kind edward cigars.

would it be ok to open the box and put a 72% boveda bag in?

I don't have space in my humidor for them.

Not ideal TBH, do you have a spare Tupperware box big enough?

I'm not sure but I think King Edwards are dried cigars and don't need to be humidified, someone may correct me though!

so can I just keep them in the box?

would it do the cigars any harm to keep them in a humi?

I kept a Canarian cigar I was given in a humidor and it had no adverse effect despite it being a dry one.

I really don't have any experience so I can't say for sure, but I don't think King Edwards or other similar cigars are known for their ageing potential so I don't think storing them in a humi or otherwise will make much difference.

Very good, the canarian cigars die before your other cigars do.
