Lovely wee pre-rev box of 5x Juan Lopez Tropicanas. Such a crisp, well-defined warranty seal. Still has what looks like a price sticker in old money: 22'6. Would that be the price for 5 cigars back in the 1950s? Seems quite expensive.
EDIT: After reading what Mike said about the pale colour of the seal, I'm thinking these might not be pre-rev after all
Very nice. Never heard of these but that isn't uncommon as a lot of the still existing marcas had cigars in their portfolio that aren't in the MRN book or on CCW. The box looks like it's from the late 50s/early 60s from what I can make out. Pretty weird that the warranty seal is missing a portion on the left and right edges. Also the seal looks like the one used from 1962 on due to the lighter shade of green.
A couple of things arrived today:
Rocky Patel GR Robustos and Arturo Fuente MagR 54. I tried both of these in the summer whilst in Madrid and was very impressed

You tried any of the new Davidoff limited edition special no 1?
I haven't so far. I've tried a fair few Davidoff lately but none have justified their high prices especially when compared to exceptional flavours of Oliva and EP Carrillo
