Am I correct in thinking that NC's are ready to go and do not need resting?

They don't need ageing and I've lit them up straight from the package so probably not. I've often wondered why people feel the need to rest cigars after a delivery, just what happens to them in transit?

Forgot to say, in this delivery I also got a couple of Boveda 69's ready for when I need to get
my first tupperdor up and running. Which will probably be sooner rather than later.

In a way I completely agree, the only issue I would have is if a cigar or cigars, while in transit could spend days around paper, letters, parcels, warm or dry sorting offices! They may loose humidity? How much I'm not sure? But letting them rest a few days may give some people piece of mind that they have done everything in there power to ensure they get there cigar in the best condition before lighting up?

The easy answer is - Yes!

I've never come across a NC that wasn't ready to be enjoyed the day of purchase.

That's just the way they are, chico JT, and IMO, the biggest advantage NCs have over the almighty puro.

But don't forget to remove the cellopain before you spark it up.
