1st of April but God knows how long I'll be back for. I plan on being in Boro Easter weekend for the match on Good Friday. Will go and see what they've got, I only know about it from my mates dad, I haven't lived in Boro for a few years now.

Beginnings!

My humi was just seasoned in the last week or two so I am just starting to put together a broad range of singles at the moment.
That's a good way to start - a few puros here, a few there - but allow yourself more than one of each before you make up your mind. And always try to get those that are a year or more older.
Now, some of my puro colleagues my disagree with the latter part of the above statement, but my experience is that nothing much good comes from puros younger than a year.

I have to be honest TJ, at first I did forget to look at what year I was buying.
I do get a bit like 'the kid in the candy shop' when I walk in there. Everything just goes out of my mind.
I will try to remember whenever I go in there.
Can you actually do the same when ordering from cgars etc? I see no option when adding items to the basket.
Do I need to email first and ask for age of stock that I am considering a purchase of?

Haha! Those are all good questions and observations, chico TJ!
"Kid in a Candy Shop!" I like that description!.
No worries, mate. We all do this at times. My prescription for this condition is - be cool, act like you been there before and remember, we're the faces (sorry, line for Saturday Night Fever)! Take a breath, look around, ask if you may pick up the box and look at the date; ask if the puros are original to the box. We all get a wee bit excited when we are surrounded by fine puros, but follow my simple steps and you'll be fine.
Ordering puros is another matter. Of course, when you walk into a UK B&M you can always check the date for yourself, following my the simple step I prescribed above. But, ordering on-line from a UK vendor can be a bit tricky, I suppose. Now, when I ordering on-line, I always request the box dates of those puros I'm interested in and only buy from those willing to provide that information. But I do my due diligence before hand, so if I find a box date to my liking I can order immediately and increase my chances of getting that box date. But there are no guarantees, however, which is why most vendors no longer provide box date information. Pity, really.
Man! This post has WAY TOO MANY words! I need to go lie down and prepare for my herf later this afternoon with an old chum
