Small white mites

New in the humi today, tiny white mites crawling on a few cigars, seem to be the ones under a boveda pack. Any ideas on what these things are, should I be preparing a cigar bonfire?

cant picture as all the sticks are already in a zip lock bag waiting to be made into a fire or frozen

They're wood mites. Not dangerous at all. Here's a copy of a helpful post I made on another forum:

If they're small, they're probably mites. Keep in mind beetles' larvae are slow moving and on the INSIDE of cigars. Mites are outside and feast on the glue of the bands.
There's no way your cigars would have full adult beetles without holes in the cigars. There's also no way a larvae tobacco beetle would escape from your hands.
Good thing signs point to mite.

They're passive but very annoying to deal with. Freeze them, wait 6 weeks for them to starve, or just expose every corner of the cigars/boxes to direct sunlight for 30 seconds.
UV kills them like fire in a sawmill
