I'm sure I will Sean. On reflection at a later date, after smoking other better quality sticks, I may
decide it is as the reviews say. But as a beginner I will enjoy smoking it. I have to start somewhere.

It's a gift & they should always be taken graciously, especially form ones nearest & dearest! I suggest smoking with a strong Belgian beer, that way you'll taste the beer more than the cigar & you can smile nicely at the family as you smoke it. In 6 months time you'll probably hate to even put it to your lips. Go to Cuba & these are everywhere coz they just can't sell them abroad!

Thank you Simon. I will nip to the supermarket tomorrow and grab a couple of bottles
          of Stella or Hoegaarden.

I drink Stella with a lot of Light/Med cigars as it doesn't over power them. The Hoegaarden is a summer beer really, although I believe Martyn drinks it all yr around form a tap in his garden!!!!. See if you can find Duvel, Leffe Blonde or Leffe Bruin, these would be ideal.
PS I live in Belgium so have studied this subject very closely

For what its worth I smoked one of these and although it was quite unpleasant and one of the worse I have ever smoked, I didn't think it was quite as bad as some people make out

It was certainly better than the Inka I tried

Simon you have great taste in beer, duval is one of my staunch favourites. Have you had the Waitrose Blond? It's much better than one might expect.

I can confirm that at no point did I taste mint, whether it be peppermint, spearmint or polo mint. It was a quite unpleasant experience.

I am really chuffed that my wife and daughter thought to buy me this gift Tony. They are both brilliant.
It will, no doubt, be a topic of conversation (laughter) for a long time to come. They are both complaining
that my office stinks of fags.
Hopefully that will change as I progress along this journey mate.
