Thanks to Simonbolivar for showing me these last weekend. You can be forgiven for thinking these are Dominican Romeos, this is apparently new packaging aimed at the ladies
For the glorious sum of ?17.60 I picked up a little bundle from Ebay consisting of a box of Royal Jamaica cigars, a Montecristo tubo, two Dominican 3x3 of which one is en tubo and a leather two stick carry case.
The Royal Jamaicas have not been made in Jamaica since the hurricane of 1988, the box was plastic wrapped and sealed and the seal intact so definitely worth a punt
They feel quite firm but the manufacturer's info sheet inside the box says they are meant to be firm with no soft spots. Now going to rest in the Ikeador for several months
Included in my bundle was this sorry little Montecristo and two Dominican 3x3s. These are rock solid and so are now in a little tupperware with a 69% Boveda of their own. Anyone place the age of the Monte by the tube?
