Not necessarily, no. Especially not with Cohiba. I would imagine there is an element of family tradition too and the Cubans are big on that. If you look up Romeo by RyJ you'll see that they are starting to move away from the traditional bands too. Also look up the RyJ Media Noche for a gorgeous blue alternative.
