When it comes to the Canadian thing, I just take up to 100 and pay the small amount of taxes for the 50... that is...... if it's worth it.
50% import tax (around that) on a box of Limited Edition Cohibas going for ~250USD would bump the price up to around 375. This would still be cheaper than Swiss standard stores which normally has the LE Cohibas going for 450-550 USD.
yea i see what youre saying and makes complete sense

its only the second time ive been , 2012 and now , probably be 2016 when i go back .

This just goes back to the oven argument. If a beef pie instructions say 30 minutes at 400degrees fahrenheit. Can you do 25 minutes at 425F? Can you do 40 minuutes at 325F? Can you do 30 seconds at 40 000F?

A good recipe for freezing cigars is 3 days at -4deg Centigrade. The airplane hold is too varient to tell.

Besides!! What can 3 hours of freezing do to your cigars anyways!?! Your plane ride only takes 3 hours... right?

50 without receipt. infinite with receipt. Apparently they've started checking nowadays... Not sure how they pick who to check. But they're doing "more"!

      That's silly.
(^^ is all i'll say on the matter)

Nice one Wolfie, we last went to Cuba in June of this yr. We stayed at the Ocean Varadero El Patriarca.
We did the open top bus & stopped off at the mall but I didn't purchase . I bought a few small smokes from a shop near to calle 62.
Did you go into Josone park? We did & had a fantastic tasting pina colada sat nr to the boating lake.
We also did an overnight Havana / Pinar Del Rio tour - Highly recommended, from the tobacco farm, through to a factory tour, absolutely brilliant
