Bait and Switch?
Hmmm, too bad.
I have a concern with the Bolivars. The wrapper colors appear to vary widely in the picture. Puros are usually grouped by wrapper shade/color and boxed with puros of the same shade. In addition, they are placed in the box according to the shade, usually light to dark (or visa versa).
Sometimes vendor restock their showroom shelves with cigars from another box, leaving the original box on the shelf. Nothing devious, I suppose, just easier to keep the boxes on display looking fuller. I always ask if the puros are original to the opened box before buying.
I've had several same year boxes of the same puro where the wrappers were noticably different between the boxes, but very consistent within each box. And I could clearly see they were arranged in the box according the the shade of the wrapper - light to dark on each level (left to right).
So it is with much regret, but based on the picture, it looks like some, if not all, of the puros in this box are not original.
That's what I think, however....I could be wrong.

I've purchased plenty duty free puros before, but never at a duty free LCdH. They all say the sticks are original to the box on display, but since I don't buy boxes at duty free - only singles, I don't really care much....but I sometimes have my doubts from the looks of the sticks.
TJ's massive unit. And when I smoked one last year....IT WAS GREAT!!! One of the best of 2013!
