A few little one's

I've been good, only smoking one a week for the past month! Keeping very few in the humidor is a big help. Hoping to continue that way with these little one's. I think one a week agrees with my wallet and the time I can spare to fully enjoy them, but I do still have to have an occasional sniff of the BHKs in the humidor that I'm trying to age for at least a year!

Andy, honestly mate, I wouldn't worry about ageing the BHK's.
I smoked one of mine the other day, a 2-year old, and to be honest
it wasn't as good as my other BHK's that smoked beautifully
from the same box, aged 6months onward (Box code BTO OCT 12).

As much as I hate to admit it (especially in consideration of the early days of the great alliance and the '09 knewbee wars), but more and more as time goes by, I tend to agree with old man se?or tripleXXX. Perhaps he's not as old as he's lead us to believe.

But to the point of the post - I too wish I had your will power young andy. So far the best I can do is one per day. But I have found allowing your palate to "clear" between puros enhances the flavors and therefore, the overall enjoyment of spending a few quite hours with your best friend - the almighty puro!

Cheers guys. That's interesting about the BHK's. You would think a premium stick would be an ideal candidate for ageing. Sounds like it isn't then. Is that maybe because they use aged ingredients to start with?

Possibly. I'm just going by my experience, with one box. I haven't noticed any improvements with age.

Tip top Andy. Lovely smokes you have there. I was on one - two per day, but now I go a few days as am becoming more busy and giving time to a smoke...Although saying that, I have had a horrific day today so may delve in for a Monte 4...My ultimate 'go to stick'....
