Just caught up with the thread Ross , very impressive , great read , great collection .

That is very kind, thank you. The collection has now filled 2 scubadors and the Adorini Bari Humidor. Looking to purchase something bigger?So many beautiful cigars! J

I do like the Bari cabinet , a lovely bit of kit , not very big when you look at the dimensions , but the cigar capacity is ample for me , and as said its a great size to sit on a table

how many seasoning packs did you use to season it ?

Due to my nature, I was very specific in using 16 Boveda 84% Seasoning pouches. Before doing so, I calibrated 2 Hygrometers before seasoning. I am pretty sure that you Can use less. I locked the humidor and checked the hygrometers regularly. I left it for just over 2 weeks. To do a proper job, make sure the cedar trays and the cedar clips that are there for segregating are in there at the same time.

what humidity level are you keeping it at 69% or 65% ?

I use the Boveda 69% RH packs. I like this number as I do not mind if it is a little less at times, but am not a fan of 72%+. I can personally tell the difference between them. I prefer a firmer smoke, which the 69% does.

how many boveda packs do you require to keep at that level ?


I have 4 x 4 Boveda Cedar units, so am using 16 packs. I you look at my first post, you can see I located 3 x 4 packs at the bottom and one on the back wall. A word of warning if I may?Think carefully about where you put the 4 x 4 Boveda holder as this can cause issues if you want to mess around with the shelf heights. With 16 packs in play, It is taking a very long time in changing them, in fact, I am yet to change them! The cheapest way to purchase Boveda is in the 20 pack called a Brick pack.

any other points you may think i need to know about it

A few suggestions if I may?If you ever want to have more than the 2 loose cigar trays, you can order them from Humidor Discount. The same goes for shelving. If you require another shelf, Humidor Discount can provide them. Excellent service there, although nothing matches Cgars Ltd!

One other thing ? It may be worth your while purchasing more of the plastic name clips when ordering it. These clip onto the cedar dividers in the trays.

That is about it. I will never sell this humidor?Why? I bout another couple trays for loose and a shelf for more boxes. It is so versatile and the build quantity is excellent.

I have missed around 20 boxes to upload, let alone bundles etc as it was getting embarrassing. Anyhow,

My thought process is a big ass Humidor for singles and sampler packs, the Adorini for the more aged stock and high value followed by a large cabinet to take the main load. I will then update properly, each Humidor, although it may be Over the Top (OTT) for many users, so would ask if you have nothing constructive to say, please do not say anything. may be too much for some.
