Lanceros do seem to be trending at the moment so while my Cohiba gently rests I decided to try this offering from Don Pepin Garcia... This was an enjoyable cigar and a very attractive one at that.
HAHA! Based on your fine review chico... I tried a few of these recently. Now look what I've done...
I blame amigo PJ!

yeah....me too! The fact that there IS a date is amazing, actually. Most NC boxes I've come across don't have dates. So, I'll spark one up now and see if it's true what BB says....
...NCs are ready to go when purchased!

I just finished the first from the box and it was pretty good, but not as good as the others I've tried. I'll give it a few days in don TJ's massive unit before I try another. May just need a bit of rest from travel time.
It had a beautiful pre-light draw...reminded my of the top-shelf Padron 1926 series 80th.

Hey RJ! Maybe it's a bit too young to smoke, which goes against your position that NCs don't need to be aged.

I have a box of the 1964 pyramide those are a wonderful smoke. They smoke a little like a lancero. They are in shape more like a tapered cone lancero than a pyramide.
