Party shorts

I approach these with some trepidation...
My only experience with a part short was not a good one.
And now I have more than you can shake a stick at....
I will reserve judgement until I've smoked a couple, but I'm not hopeful!
They do smell nice though. And they look pretty good too!

They look fab, on a sidenote you're being way too harsh on the shorts! They're one of my go to's because theyre consistently good for when you don't have much time.

Then again I suppose that is where opinion comes into play.

I have to ask though...why did you buy them at all if you didn't like the last lot you've had? You sound like you're dreading them???

The problem was that is read a lot - and everyone was raving about them... So I order them as what I thought was a fairly safe bet.
Then I had my first the other day - it was OK, but nowt special.
I'll give em a try and hope that the last one I had was a dud!

Not much age on them maybe lay a box down for a while and see how that pans out. But they are looking good mate

They are great little smokes, but yours could be very young still. you could try one now and then another in 3-6 months and assess how they develop. record the date and maybe record how they smoke each time. there will be a time that theyll be great. if not now, then in time . ATB

I'm not a big fan of the Party Shorts, or the PSD4 for that matter. Young they're too strong, too harsh and not even a good average tasting cigar IMO .... but they're reasonably cheap, so I guess that has some appeal. As a 'go to', they take far too long to reach 'good smoke' level. Mine are 2010 and I'm nowhere near happy with them yet. Cuban Legends they might be, but they don't deserve the title .... the Partagas Tres Petit was miles, miles better.

My last post was possibly a little harsh groundhog. But in your undecided situation I think I would keep one box and move on or swap the other.

i wouldnt say miles ... but yes i find them a bit tastier and a bit stronger than shorts .
